To Create a PDF version of an HTML doc set

There are two ways to create a PDF version of HTML documentation.

• Run Adobe Acrobat (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe).

Sphinx

Open an command prompt and run the command “make pdf”.

Although this method works (and is easy to use), it produces documentation that contains malformed tables.

Adobe Acrobat X PRO

1. Create a new pdf based on the first topic of the HTML docs.
2. Insert each successive topic at the end. A benefit of this approach is that each topic’s length isn’t split into several pages. I.e., when you look at it on screen, you can scroll to the end of the topic continously.

Note

You can reduce the size of a PDF quite significantly using Save As > Reduce Size of PDF.

To turn a multi-page PDF into the equivalent one page PDF

1. Click Tools > Crop.
